Like every recipe in my family, I have Tarrahized something that was already delicious.
Ingredients:
| Chicken Wings | 10 lbs. |
| Sugar | 2 cups |
| Brown Sugar | 2 cups |
| Garlic Powder | to taste |
| Soy Sauce | 5 ounces (approx. 1/2 bottle) |
| Pineapple Chunks | 20 ounces (more if desired) |
| Maraschino Cherries | Small jar |
| Jalapeños | How spicy do you want it? |
Original Recipe:
Mix wings, sugars, garlic powder, soy sauce, and 1/2 of the pineapple chunks together. Arrange on baking sheet. Bake at 350º for 2 hours. Turn wings 3-4 times while baking. Add remaining pineapple chunks and Maraschino cherries on top and serve.
Notes: If you do 5 pounds of wings cut sugars to 1 cup. You can use more brown sugar to enhance the brown sauce.
Tarrah’s Version:
Bust out the crock pot, throw everything (except the cherries) in the pot and let it simmer until game time. I usually give it about 6 hours, but it’s going to vary if your wings are fresh and not frozen and depending on how many you are making.
The difference – the original version the wings are sticky and gooey. Tarrah’s version the wings are tender AF and the meat just drips off the bone. Both are delicious!
